How to read the catalog
- Characters in the catalog can carry many aliases, affiliations, abilities, and appearances. Those stay as separate relationships rather than one flattened fact.
- Broad magic capability is stored apart from a specific metal or power. A capability row does not mean every related power was used on the page.
- Worlds include planets, alternate Earths, stations, and realms from Cosmere and other works. The planet list is still a subset, and the orrery draws only the planets with a schematic position.
- The chart counts works recorded as published. Drafts, planned works, and trunked projects remain in the catalog tables and stay off the chart. Most published rows record a year only.
- Book appearances are a curated subset. An absent appearance means the catalog does not record it.
